Lead is harmful to one’s health and can pose many health problems if left untreated. Lead is a grayish-blue material that is used in manufacturing of car batteries, radiators, bronze casing, toys, and prior to 1970 in paint. Who is at risk? Are you at risk? Well, people who work in occupations such as automotive radiator repairing, construction, painting, ceramic making, glazing, bronze production, gun firing ranges, ship building repairing, stained glass-making, salvaging or recycling scrap metal, or manufacturing crystal are at greatest risks. So, what can be done to prevent lead poisoning through exposure?
